In so many cultures, fat is the prized food.

💡If we have limited access to carbs (or we’re limiting carbs for healing), then we need whole food, animal fats.

🥛Getting most of your fat from heavy cream isn’t ideal. I haven’t seen many of my clients thrive with the majority of fat coming from dairy (sorry).

🥩But eating fatty ribeyes, pork belly and bone marrow is ideal.

Fat doesn’t make you fat. Insulin resistance (hyperinsulinemia) and excess energy do.

🐓Eating lean proteins will help you lose weight because you’re consuming very few calories.

But it’s not sustainable long-term or ideal for optimal health.

💡If you can’t eat the way you are until 100 or if you don’t enjoy the way you’re eating, it won’t last long.

When you limit carbs, you need fat as your energy substrate.

Protein is mainly for building. (We need protein but we need fatty protein).

❓And for all the “natural animals are lean?”

🌟We always searched and prized the fatty animals.
