Dr. Gary Fattke (@isupportgary) shared so many wise words during our interview. One thing that struck me was how earnest he was in wanting to share the truth.
🙏🏼He wants to do good for the people and will share these truths, even at the risk of his career or his name being tarnished.
👨🏼⚕️Dr. Fettke is a great role model in how we can change the way our sick care functions.
🏆We need to put our patients first and take the time with our patients.
🥀The way our current health system is structured, spending more than 15 minutes is impossible.
🩸Doctors only order the most basic labs because that’s how they don’t get heat from the insurance companies.
⚠️It’s scary and difficult to stand up for what’s right. But we need to do it.
💡The solution isn’t always just to give meds or to diagnose an autoimmune.
⛑Every single one of my clients knows that I’ll take a little more time even if we are just scheduled for an hour. That’s how I practice. My clients’ needs don’t go away at the end of the hour.
👟I make sure they are heard and seen. Sure, it’s not always easy, but I’ve been in their shoes at one time.
I get it.
❤️🩹And while it’s more complicated for doctors covered by insurance, the only way we can beat a broken system is by doing something about it.
⚔️We must advocate for change and we must stand for the weak and poor that don’t have a voice.
🥩And oftentimes, the easiest thing to recommend is a low carb diet to start the path of root-cause healing.
🍳Because anyone can afford ground meat, eggs, and butter.
