Healing from any addiction requires multiple things.

🔅You need to abstain.
🔅You need mental fortitude to say no when times get hard.

💡But you also need new habits to take over when addictions came into play.

🧠When our lizard brain or our fight/flight response kicks in, we need another automated response to take over—otherwise inevitably, we go back to our
past addiction.

❤️‍🩹Diet alone won’t fix everything. We have to fix the areas that make us feel less than ideal. You can’t hide everything under the invisible rug. The body keeps the score.

⛑Find the areas you turn to your vices. Figure out why. It’s not easy but it makes all the difference.
