- What is a mind-body program?
Our mind-body program focuses on the interconnectedness of the mind, body and spirit to improve overall health and well-being. It includes techniques like mindfulness, stress reduction, and physical activities that promote mental and emotional health so that you can get closer to root-cause healing.
- Who can benefit from a mind-body program?
Anyone looking to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional well-being can benefit. Anyone stuck in healing that may need to support the nervous system to get out of a fight-or-flight state. It’s particularly helpful for those dealing with stress, chronic pain, anxiety, trauma, or simply seeking a more balanced and healthy lifestyle.
- Do I need any previous experience with mindfulness or meditation?
No, beginners are welcome! Our program is designed to be accessible to individuals at all levels of experience.
- Who is leading the program?
The program is partially self-led where you watch videos and read material at your pace for a week. At the end of the week, you have a call to discuss new topics and questions from that section.
We also have bi-monthly office hours to ensure you get the support you need. The group calls are recorded.
Our calls are led by practitioners who are nutritional therapists or licensed clinical therapists. We are all meat-based and understand the importance of a meat-based diet as a fundamental baseline of health.
- How do I stay involved with the community after the program ends?
We encourage ongoing involvement! After 3 months, you can continue to be part of the Mind Body group for a monthly fee, which includes community support, group calls, office hours, and ongoing Mind Body resource updates.
If you stick with the initial purchase, you will still have access to the Mind Body Program (without the group access) for one year.
- How much time do I need to commit to the program each week?
While it can vary, we generally recommend dedicating a few hours each week to engage fully with all aspects of the program. The more you put in, the more you will gain from the program.
- How can I maximize the benefits of the program?
Consistent participation and practice are key. Try to engage regularly with the program materials and activities, and apply the techniques you learn in your daily life. Also, actively participating in community discussions can enhance your experience.

- Can this program replace my current therapy or medication?
This program is designed to complement, not replace, existing medical treatments. We recommend consulting with your healthcare provider before making any changes to your current treatment (especially with medications) plan.
- How do I know if the program is working for me?
You may notice changes in your stress levels, mood, sleep quality, or overall sense of well-being. Results can vary and may take time, so we encourage patience and consistency.
- What should I do if I miss a live session?
We understand that schedules can be busy, or you may just not feel well. All live sessions are recorded, and you can find the recordings in the Recordings & Handouts space. Be sure to catch up when you can to stay on track with the program.
- Can I repeat exercises or sessions if I find them particularly helpful?
Absolutely! We encourage you to revisit and repeat any exercises or sections that you find beneficial. Repetition can often deepen understanding and effectiveness. We know everyone is different and purposely shared many different tools and resources in the Mind-Body program so you can find your own root-cause healing.
- What should I do if I find certain exercises challenging?
Always listen to your body and do what feels right for you. We encourage you to reach out to our instructors for modifications or alternative exercises.
It’s normal to face challenges when learning new techniques. Don’t hesitate to reach out to our instructors for guidance or alternative methods, by joining office hours. Remember, personalization is key, and it’s important to find what works best for you.
- Is there additional reading or resources I can access to supplement the program?
Yes, we have a list of recommended books, articles, and websites in the resource section that can complement your learning. (Section 9 Handouts and Resources in the Mind Body Program).
Additionally, any new NwJ resources for Mind Body are shared in the NwJ Resources space and the community also shares in the Resources Shares space.
- What if I don’t think the program is for me after all?
