Intenzyme Forte is a broad spectrum proteolytic enzyme formulation, containing pancreatin, bromelain, papain, lipase, amylase, trypsin and alpha chymotrypsin. It may be utilized to support numerous protein metabolism pathways. Proteolytic enzymes are capable of exerting influence over a wide variety of physiological and biochemical processes. The benefits of Intenzyme Forte include its effect on muscle soreness and discomfort due to overexertion, the support of hormone processing, as well as providing support for healthy digestive, immune and circulatory functions.

Proteolytic Enzymes:

Proteolytic enzymes, (protein digesting enzymes) were used extensively and effectively in the 60’s to digest away this spilled protein for reuse. But soon, pain killers became popular which don’t address the healing process in as much as they inhibit various aspects of the healing process. Proteolytic enzymes are cost effective as well as healing effective, immediate and long term. The body does produce its own proteolytic enzymes, but not enough for the immediate situation.

Intenzyme Forte (on an empty stomach so it isn’t used up digesting your food) contains many types of proteolytic enzymes shown effective as well as trypsin and alpha Chymotrypsin as produced by your body. 40% are proven to get through the gut lining into the blood to get to wherever the injury is and greatly lessen inflammation. Athletes who expect heavy injuries, such as boxers, take it before and after competition and get, on average, only half the normal swelling and soreness.

Intenzyme Forte can be a great digestion support as it contains the enzymes for protein, fat and carbohydrate digestion. Taken with Hydro-zyme (HCl), it supports increasing of stomach acid and maximizes the absorption of fats, proteins, minerals and other nutrients.

Dosage:

Two (2) tablets on an empty stomach for inflammation support (up to 6 daily)

Two (2) tables with food for digestive enzyme support (up to 6 daily)

Pancreatin 4X (porcine), Bromelain (from pineapple), Papain (from papaya), Lipase (porcine), Amylase (porcine), Trypsin & Alpha Chymotrypsin (porcine), Superoxide Dismutase (from vegetable culture†), Catalase (from vegetable culture†) †Specially grown, biologically active vegetable culture containing naturally associated phytochemicals including polyphenolic compounds with SOD and catalase, dehydrated at low temperature to preserve associated enzyme factors.

Other Ingredients:

Stearic acid (vegetable source), cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetable source) and food glaze.
