FC-Cidal™ supplies a proprietary blend of herbs and herbal extracts, which function to support healthy GI function. Herbs, spices and botanical preparations often exhibit antimicrobial properties due to a wide array of terpenoid and polyphenolic compounds. Culinary herbs have long been used to control pests and food-borne yeasts and molds in the context of food safety. Thyme, for example, is an aromatic oil enriched in monoterpenes. The thymol content of thyme oil can be 30-70%, while the carvacrol content ranges between 3 and 15%. Both of these compounds possess antimicrobial and antiviral properties.

FC-CIDAL contains:

French Tarragon (Artemesia dracunculus) – This herb contains the following fungicides: caffeic acid, capillin, chavicol, cinnamic acid, cymene, eugenol, ferulic acid, geraniol, isoeugenol, linalool, phoroglucinol, and umbelliferone

Indian Tinospora (Tinospora cordifolia) – This Ayurvedic herb, commonly used for G.I. tract disturbances and skin rashes as found with eczema and psoriasis, contains giloin, gilenin, and tinosporine.

Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) – Used as a source of silica.

Thyme (Thymus vulgaris) – This herb contains several fungicides including thymol.

Pau D’ Arco (Tabebuia impetiginosa) (Pau D’Arco) – Contains antifungal properties.

Stinging Nettle Extract (Urtica dioica) – Offers both antifungal and anti-histamine properties.

Olea Europaea (Olive Leaf)- Contains antifungal and antiviral polyphenols.

One (1) capsule two (2) times each day as a dietary supplement or as otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
