On Sundays, I spotlight one of your inspirational carnivore stories to share with the community. It takes a village and in this case, it’s this amazing tribe.

WHAT CARNIVORE HAS HEALED FOR MAURA:

Carnivore has freed me from binging and food restriction. I’m finally able to eat to satiety without worrying about weight gain. My relationship with food is completely restored.

🥩 MENTAL HEALTH: It has also completely gotten rid of all symptoms of anxiety and depression, something prescription drugs never did for me. Many people report improved mental health with this way of eating. 

3 TIPS FOR GOING CARNIVORE
1️⃣ EAT NOSE TO TAIL. Including organs and bone broths takes carnivore to a new level. Your skin will look incredible and you won’t get sick!
2️⃣ LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. Don’t force extended fasts if you are feeling stressed and tired. Eat to satiety. Undereating can cause a host of unwanted issues for both men and women.
3️⃣ DON’T NEGLECT SALT! Make sure you supplement salt as needed with a high quality salt like Redmond Real Salt.

Some people starting the carnivore diet may need temporary supports like betaine HCl supplements, digestive enzymes, ox bile, and electrolytes. There are other modalities that may be required if your gut function is severely impacted. Working with a trusted nutritionist can help with the transition and minimize symptoms of the “keto flu”.
