01 — Why Now

Chronic Inflammation Is the Right Conversation, Right Now.

With chronic disease rates rising and many people feeling treated but not better, Inflammation Fix offers a practical framework for understanding why health breaks down and what can actually help rebuild it.

Most people are not dealing with a single problem. They are dealing with accumulated stressors: food, gut dysfunction, toxins, infections, stress, trauma, poor sleep, and environmental load. Yet healthcare often treats the loudest symptom instead of asking why the system became inflamed, depleted, or dysregulated in the first place.

This is why so many people cycle through diagnoses, medications, supplements, and protocols without fully recovering. The issue is not that symptoms do not matter. They do. But symptoms are signals, not always the source. When we only suppress the signal, we can miss the deeper pattern driving the illness.

Judy speaks to the audience that has done everything right and still feels wrong. She translates the gut-brain-immune connection into language patients, hosts, and skeptics can hold onto, and she names the order of operations most protocols skip.

The result is a conversation that respects medicine, refuses fear-mongering, and gives listeners a real next step: stop chasing every symptom in isolation and start rebuilding the terrain that allowed the symptoms to persist.

03 — About Judy

A Clinical Voice for Whole-Person Recovery.

Judy Cho is a functional medicine practitioner, board-certified holistic nutritionist, and the author of Carnivore Cure, The Complete Carnivore Diet for Beginners, and the forthcoming Inflammation Fix. She is the founder of Empower Functional Health and host of the Nutrition with Judy podcast, ranked in the global top 0.5%.

Her own story begins with a mental health crisis after more than a decade on a plant-based diet. When she shifted to a carnivore elimination protocol, the results were undeniable and set the direction for the clinical practice and publishing work that followed.

Over 2,500 clients later, her work has expanded from carnivore education into a full root-cause framework: food, gut health, toxins, drainage, mold, environmental illness, nervous system regulation, and whole-person healing. Inflammation Fix is the expression of that evolution.

She holds multiple degrees from UC Berkeley. She bridges the worlds of therapeutic nutrition, functional medicine, and evidence-based health communication for a mainstream audience.

04 — The Book

Inflammation Fix

Most treatments manage inflammation. This book explains why it starts and what it actually takes to stop it.

Inflammation Fix connects the full landscape of chronic inflammation: food and nutrient density, gut health and the microbiome, environmental toxins, mold and air quality, drainage and detox pathways, hormones, sleep, and nervous system regulation. Instead of chasing isolated symptoms, it gives readers a framework for understanding how multiple stressors accumulate and how to reduce that burden.

The book is for anyone seeing early signs of illness or metabolic dysfunction, as well as those who have tried everything and still feel unwell. It is evidence-based, clinically grounded, and written to be used, not just read.
